January 18 |
ANN: Chapter O Homework in MyMathLab (MML) will be due this upcoming Tuesday, January 23. ANN: Section 1.4 Homework and Section 2.2 Homework in MML will be due Jan. 30. In class, students introduced themselves and I introduced the class with several policies and class details. I handed out the syllabus and we looked through the main points. You should read it thoroughly soon. You need to get MyMathLab (MML) set up as well; you will see instructions under MyMathLab and on the syllabus. I did a brief demonstration of my Website www.stlmath.com. I handed out the handout for our Math Resource Center which is our math tutoring location on campus. ANN: Exam 1 will cover 1.4, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, and 3.1-3.5. In class, we started the Class Notes for 1.4, getting through making an example for terms and factors in the middle of page 2. We will continue from there next time. A 1.4 worksheet was attached to these Notes and will be discussed next time. |
